Curriculum Drivers
At Beverley St Nicholas School, we aim to ensure that our children receive a curriculum that is designed to broaden their horizons and extend the boundaries of their lives.
We aim to equip pupils with the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life. We believe that our children deserve to learn more than that published in the National Curriculum.
We have worked to ensure the curriculum we offer is enriched and personalised to our children and that it prioritises the things we want our children to experience during their time with us.
Based on the needs of our children we have identified 3 drivers to underpin our curriculum. These are:
- Aspirations
- Global Citizenship
- Health and Wellbeing
We use these ‘drivers’ to underpin the work we undertake in all areas of school life.
