The School Day

Foundation Stage:

  • Foundation Stage 1: 8.55 am – 11.50 am

  • Foundation Stage 2: 8.55 am – 3.20pm (6 hours 25 per day = 32 hours and 5 minutes per week  ** Please note this will change in September 2024)

Children will be welcomed into the unit each morning by staff. Parents are welcome to come in and ensure their children are settled. At the end of the session children will be handed over to their parent(s) / carer(s) by a member of staff.

Key Stage 1:

  • Key Stage 1: 8.50 am – 12.00pm, 1.00 pm – 3.25pm(6 hours 35 per day = 32 hours and 55 minutes per week

Pupils are asked to arrive 5 minutes before the start of the day at 8.50am. Children will line up at the classroom doors and will be met by a member of staff and welcomed into the classroom. At the end of the school day, your child will be allowed to leave once a staff member has ensured their parent /carer is present.

Key Stage 2:

  • Key Stage 2: 8.50 am – 12.00pm, 1.00 pm – 3.25pm(6 hours 35 per day = 32 hours and 55 minutes per week

Pupils are asked to arrive 5 minutes before the start of the session. Pupils in Year 3 and 4 line up in their classes on the MUGA and a member of staff will accompany them into the building. Year 5 and 6 enter school via the hall doors where they will be met by a member of staff.
