Vision & Values

Our vision at Beverley St Nicholas Community Primary School is to create a warm, supportive, nurturing, secure and happy learning environment where everyone feels valued and are encouraged to recognise and achieve their full potential. Our school aim is to respect and nurture everyone in our community.

We are proud to be a part of Edukos Trust. The values of the trust are growth, trust and friendly and we regularly refer to these with the children and encourage them to understand that they are part of a wider community that consists of the four other schools in the trust. As part of this we have three trust ambassadors who regularly meet with their counterparts from the other schools.

We have chosen our four core values and these are shared below along with videos of our wonderful pupils sharing what the values mean to us.

  • Respect
We respect and care for each other and our environment. We recognise and accept that we are all different by being respectful to individual needs and beliefs.

  • Resilience
We persevere when faced with challenges and to encourage and support others to have a go. We aim to build up self confidence and become curious, creative learners.

  • Nurture
We care and nurture each individual in a safe and happy environment to allow them to become confident and independent learners. We nurture success and offer support in order for everyone to reach their full potential.

  • Community
We aim to work well together as a school community, providing a rich and broad curriculum for all pupils. We embrace and welcome the wider community, away from school, teaching pupils to become respectful members of society and offering meaningful, practical experiences outside of the classroom.
